As a company, our passion is for people and progress. While we wholeheartedly pursue ways to better existing processes to benefit our clients, our very own people remain the lifeblood of our company. To appreciate our staff and their families, we embarked on a 3-day, 2-night trip to Desaru for our very first overseas UR Family Bonding Trip.
Arriving on the afternoon of 26th July, UR staff and family members were greeted by Tunamaya Resort, a beach and spa resort featuring activities like karaoke, fishing trips and yacht rides. After a hearty buffet dinner at the hotel, UR staff were free to hang out with their families and enjoy all that the hotel had to offer. At night, they retired to their rooms to be ready and well-rested for the staff games to be held in the morning.
On 27th July, UR staff rose early for a hearty breakfast before engaging in the staff games. Held at the beach, UR staff were split into four teams who competed for prizes in games emphasising teamwork, strategy and cooperation. The final game was a race across the beach where the first 10 individuals to finish first were awarded prizes.
The rest of the time was free and easy for the staff to kick back and enjoy the malls, food and sights of sunny Desaru. With a pleasant weather throughout our stay, it was an invigorating break that led to closer bonds forged between our staff and their families. We look forward to next year’s trip with great anticipation!
